April Meeting Minutes
1-Finances: No changes from last month.
2-Workdays - Need to find a day where people are available to have concrete delivered to the course and get teepads on 8 and 9 poured.
3-Summer Doubles - Same structure as last few seasons with points. Will be 20 weeks long, April 24th - September 4th. Looking for additional sponsors - PIAS and O'Cools have agreed to sponsor the series with weekly CTP prizes.
4-Monthlies - May 6th will be Membership Appreciation monthly, a free for all BBQ and putting games at Max's house. You can also renew GVDG membership for $15 today only. July 2nd will be the Myer's Mix and Match monthly, 2 rounds at the Meadow playing the same layout both rounds, the layout will be a mix of white and blue tees.
5-DEPC - Theme for 2017 is Friday the 13th. Working with Nick Harmer for this years artwork. Max will get shelter reserved through Recs&Parks.
6-Sponsorship - GVDG will sponsor hole 17 at King's Cup for $100. Max is contacting a few companies about possible sponsorship of hole 4 and hole 8 teesigns at the Meadow. Current plan is to use new sponsorship money to update all teesigns at the Meadow.
7-Next meeting - Adam Walter is running a PDGA singles league on Wednesdays for May and June, plan is a quick meeting at Max's house after league play on May 10th and June 14th.
